Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 21, 2026
1. Scope
These Terms of Service (TOS) govern your access to and use of the StackAudit platform and all associated technology detection and security audit services. By using StackAudit, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services & "As-Is" Nature
StackAudit provides automated technology detection and preliminary security recommendations.
- Informational Only: All results are for informational purposes. They do not constitute legal or professional security advice.
- No Guarantee: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the analysis. Use of the service and any subsequent implementation of recommendations is at your own risk.
3. User Obligations & Authorization
By entering a URL for analysis, you represent and warrant that:
- Ownership/Permission: You own the target website or have explicit permission from the owner to perform a scan.
- Lawful Use: You will not use StackAudit for unlawful purposes, including malicious reconnaissance or facilitating cyberattacks.
- No Scraping: Automated retrieval of data from StackAudit at high frequencies ("scraping") is strictly prohibited without written consent.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StackAudit and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—including but not limited to server downtime, data loss, or security breaches—arising from your use of the service or reliance on our reports. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user (if any) in the past 12 months.
5. Intellectual Property
StackAudit retains all rights, titles, and interests in the platform, its proprietary detection algorithms, and branding. Users are granted a non-exclusive license to use the resulting reports for internal or personal purposes.
6. Termination & Changes
We reserve the right to block access to any user or IP address that violates these terms. We may modify these TOS at any time; continued use of the service after "significant changes" constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
